If that is the case, you there are a number of options open to you, you could go down the route of a gender selection clinic, and you will more than likely achieve your goal, but not before you have spent several thousand dollars. This article will look at some of the natural ways to conceive a girl, ways you can try at home, and ways that won’t cost you any money but will still help you understand how to have a girl.

Some Basic Biology

You need to understand that the sex of a baby is determined by the sperm. If a sperm carrying the X chromosome fertilizes the egg, you will have a baby girl; if the sperm carries the Y chromosome then it’s a boy.

Each type of chromosome carrying sperm has its own characteristics, and we can use these characteristics to our advantage if we want to increase the chances if we’re trying for a girl.

The sperm with the female (X) chromosome is much hardier than the male (Y), and will survive much longer, often for many days. It moves much slower than the male chromosome and seems to go about its business in a far more planned and deliberate way than its male counterpart.

1. The timing of conception – As we discussed above, the sperm with the girl chromosome is much hardier and has the ability to hang around and wait for you to ovulate for a couple of days or so. This means that if you you’re your intercourse about 3 days before ovulation, it gives the boy sperm time to die off before the egg appears. To give yourself the best chance of conceiving a girl, you will need to know very accurately when you will ovulate, and you can use an ovulation predictor from your pharmacy to do this.

2. Precision Ejaculation – Girl sperm will swim much further than boy sperm because it lives a longer life. If you can conceive using a position that facilitates shallow penetration, you will in effect place the sperm further away from the cervix and give the girl sperm a greater chance of making it to the egg than the lazy boy sperm.

3. PH Environment – Boy sperm survives less well than the girl sperm in an acidic environment. You can test vaginal acidity quite easily using test strips, and you’ll need to increase the PH level until get to a level referred to as ‘the girl zone’. You achieve this by using special douches or eating certain types of food that affect PH levels. One word of warning though, some speciality clinics charge several hundred dollars for these douches – you’ll be glad to hear that you can make you own at home that are very effective.

The idea with all 3 of these methods is to give the girl sperm as much support you can in order to give yourself the best possible chance of conceiving a girl. All these methods are well and good though, but much of it is anecdotal, has never been properly studied, and has little or no documented medical evidence….
